GlenMyu Estate is situated just about one hour from Ella and the nearest train station is Haputale.
It’s great for day trips to Ella to see sights like Nine Arch Bridge and Climb Little Adams Peak.
There are waterfalls, scenic views and hiking within reach of the estate.
GlenMyu Estate is located just after the 185/14 kilometre post(culvert) on the main A4 road.
Our gate is on the main road.
The road to the main house is carpeted/concrete.
We have parking onsite, however we do not have drivers quarters.
There are lots of places for your driver to stay locally.
Coming by Train
If you are coming from Colombo, Kandy or Ella by train our nearest train station is Haputale.
It is around twenty minute Tuk Tuk ride to GlenMyu Estate and it costs around LKR 1,500
By car from the Southern beaches, Yala or Udawalawe National Parks
If you are coming by car from the Southern coast take the A2 road to Wellawaya.
Then take the A4 road westwards to Beragala.
It will take you around one hour from Wellawaya and you will pass Diyaluma Waterfall on the way.
Our gate is on the left-hand side of the road, just before culvert 185/14.
Coming by car from Kandy
If you are driving from Kandy via Nuwara Eliya on the A5, take the B353 via Boralanda and then the B48 to Haputale
Turn right at Haputale on the A16 towards Beragala.
As you enter Beragala Junction turn sharp left to the A4 road towards Koslanda/Wellawaya.
GlenMyu Estate is located four kilometres from Beragala Junction.
You will find our gate on the right-hand side of the road, just after culvert 185/14.
Please do not take the small lane just before our gate as it is difficult to turn around.
Coming from Colombo or the Airport
Take the A4 road from Colombo all the way to GlenMyu Estate.
Make sure you turn right at Beragala Junction to keep on the A4 road.
You will find our gate on the right-hand side of the road, just after culvert 185/14.
Please do not take the small lane just before our gate as it is difficult to turn around.
